Comment - Winter scene with a boy skating. He is wrapped in a long yellow scarf, and is flying an edo kaku kite (½‘õ½Ç) with a kanji character (not read), while he makes his laps on the ice. The roofs of a snow-covered village can be seen in the background, some houses with trees in front of them. The sky is uniformly snow-grey.
