Comment - This small print is composed of three New Year Fan designs from a 20th century artist (unsigned). The right fan design contains a tiger, a Daruma doll and doll of a female. The center fan design contains a Yakko kite ("yakko dako", "Å«„J") and an Edo kite ("Edo-tako", "½‘õ„J") with the kanji charcter (Kanji kite, "ji tako", "×Ö„J") for "dragon" (ýˆ, ry¨±), and a wind-up spinning-top toy. The right hand fan design contains a Lion Dancer, and a Hanetsuki paddle with a shuttlecock. Hanetsuki is a traditional New Year holiday game similar to badminton, and almost exclusively played by females.
