Comment -  toppled dow Edo kite ("Edo-tako", "江戸凧") with a big face and large teeth. The kiter is entangled by the kite line, in despair he clings his arms around his head. (page 47)


Series - ("Transmitted from God") "Hokusai Manga" ("伝神開手 北斎漫画", "Denshin kaishu Hokusai manga") Illustrated book. Vol. 11 from an original series of fifteen volumes. Teaching handbook (e-dehon) containing 31 folded sheets (cho) with decent tri-colour illustrations (black sumi, light black sumi, and light vermilion) and text.
