Kite is a cross-cultural, cross-border and cross-language art, and it enables Weifang to participate in a plethora of international cultural exchanges. Kites connects the sky to the earth, and now it is as well connecting our hearts. Now, Weifang is using its influence in the kiting world to establish friendship all over the world, realizing "ancient and modern dialogue" and "Sino-foreign exchanges". Kiting in general is promoting the integration and development between different cultures in the world.     风筝，是一种跨文化、跨国界、跨语言的艺术，更是潍坊参与国际文化交流 的一张金名片。风筝，连接着天空与大地，也连接着我们每一个人的心。如今，潍坊正用风筝牵线，联结四海之谊，实现了 潍坊文化的“古今对话”和“中外交流”，也促进了世界各国不同文化之间的融合与发展。     My Chinese given name is "Peace", and therefore I feel entitled to talk about "Peace". In these turbulent times, with acts of war in many parts of our world and a looming global trade war, it is appropriate to reaffirm the ethical values of sports, and kite flying in particular. Sports, even though it is competitive, should serve peaceful understanding.     我的中文名是“和平”，因此我觉得自己有资格谈论“和平”。在这个动荡 的时代，世界许多地方战火纷飞，全球贸易战一触即发，有必要重申体育运动，尤其是放风筝运动的道德价值。体育运动， 即使具有竞技性，也应该服务于和平的理解。     One of the core values of sports and kite flying is "peace" in all its aspects. Let me propose a motto not only for this international kite festival, but also for our lives: "Peaceful Development!" and "Let's Fly Our Dreams - Embrace Peace"     体育和风筝运动的核心价值观之一 -就是“和平”的方方面面。让我不仅为这个国际的风筝节，也为咱们的生活提出座右铭：   “和平发展!" 又"放飞梦想 - 拥抱和平” .......
